Cohasset Master Plan Study

The City of Cohasset wanted to create a development that would align with the natural resources of northern Minnesota and create and additional amenity that would draw visitors to the region. The city also saw an opportunity in the brownfield site along the Mississippi River of a former sawmill, and will transform it into a vibrant community space connecting the local water-based activity to the city. The design of the masterplan focused on creating a central mixed-use and outdoor community space. Locating the space in the center of the development, it will support multiple community activities and draw visitors alike. The development will support the community of Cohasset by enhancing the economic development for the city and region by increasing the draw to visitors.
