Williston State College Stevens Hall

JLG worked with Williston State College (WSC) to transform its main campus building, Stevens Hall, addressing major ADA compliant upgrades, new classroom space, and deferred maintenance. The 52,000 SF renovation began in spring of 2020, and was completed in the fall of 2020, just in time for classes. The renovation consisted of flexible classroom space, a new bookstore, a state-of-the-art cafeteria, exterior entrance improvements, improved accessibility, new lighting and A/V systems, upgraded security, and a more efficient mechanical air handling system. Along with system upgrades, the building’s windows were replaced with thermally efficient fiberglass windows, while insulation was added to the interior side of the existing exterior walls for added thermal benefits. Stevens Hall was an intense collaboration with the College that resulted in increased efficiency, ADA accessibility, exciting and flexible learning environments, and secure places to learn and work – enhancing campus activity and recruitment for both students and faculty.
