Williston State College Campus Master Plan

To manage change during a time of growth and expansion in western North Dakota, Williston State College recruited JLG to devise a future-driven Master Plan that would help transform its 1961 campus. The Master Plan provided critical guidance in making decisions about the future physical development of the campus, including multiple phased renovations. In support of optimal pathways, JLG and WSC led a study that analyzed future building needs, land use, open space, pedestrian and vehicular circulation plans, parking plans, campus infrastructure and utilities, and campus development plans. JLG’s Master Plan has been a guiding light, helping the College prepare for future growth and creating enhanced learning, recreation, and workforce training environments that are enticing students, athletes, and faculty to experience western North Dakota’s ’Teton Country.’
