The University of North Dakota Center provides one of the tp[possible aviation education and training programs in the world. With more than 2,200 students, the John D. Odegard School of Aerospace Sciences is the second largest college at the University of North Dakota. A new free-standing helicopter hangar adds to UND’s collection of impressive facilities. This specialized ramp and hangar, provided by the UND Aerospace Foundation, currently houses Schweitzer 300 and a Bell 208 helicopters. The facility also includes an office wing for staff and students, and was constructed of precast concrete. The hangar was constructed using precast concrete to limit material waste.
