The Argyle Block on Fourth Street in downtown Grand Forks, North Dakota, contributed to the City’s rich history from 1914 to 1997, after which it was demolished due to extensive flood damage. Today, the site is sustainably rebuilt and home to JLG’s new flagship office, 23 top-floor apartments, and street-level retail. With a prime downtown location, tenants have access to natural light and skyline views with expansive windows overlooking the nearby park and Red River. The Argyle is a cutting-edge work of the modern, sustainable architecture movement, designed to utilize solar arrays on the roof, maximize daylight, minimize synthetic lighting, and provide substantial operational savings through efficiencies and reduction in heating, cooling, and water use. Development of The Argyle is JLG’s double-down commitment to building a thriving community and fostering the continued growth of an employee-owned organization founded in Grand Forks.
