Henderson Event Center Design Study

The City of Henderson, Nevada partnered with the Las Vegas National Hockey League (NHL) Golden Knights, to provide a home ice venue for the new American Hockey League (AHL) team, Silver Knights. JLG developed five design options to meet the goals of the City with the overarching goal of creating a venue that would serve as a focal point of activity in the nearby mixed-use district in Henderson — providing a family-centric establishment that would also host concerts, performances, and other team sports. The design concept for the events center features a single bowl with a 6,000-seat capacity with a compact, functional design layout that takes advantage of the spectacular views of the Las Vegas Strip. The effort was a partnership with Aptus Architects and McCarthy Construction.
