Cascade Creek Apartments

The Cascade Creek Apartments were designed by JLG as part of the historic Kutzky Park district in Rochester, Minnesota near Mayo Clinic and the citywide bike path. The complex brings much-needed affordable housing as a part of an overall reclamation master plan to update and invigorate the area. With 40 apartment units, first-floor commercial space, and an outdoor playground, Cascade Creek creates neighborhood infrastructure while using distinctive design to establish a sense of place within the historic fabric. Cascade Creek was sustainably designed and has received LEED Silver for Homes Certification. This attention to detail earned the complex another recognition for the CUDE Award, which is given to projects that contribute to Rochester’s quality of life and improve its appearance, function, and environmental quality.
