Bettendorf, Iowa, is anticipating the opening of a new golf entertainment venue located near the TBK Bank Sports Complex – a state-of-the-art sports and entertainment complex spanning 75 acres. Working with JLG Architects, the team is designing a 70,000 SF venue and 109-acre property developed by local investors at Middle & Forest Grove, LLC and advised by Troon, a leader in golf and club-related leisure services. The Complex is currently in the schematic design phase with construction expected to begin in the summer of 2022 and opening its doors in the summer/fall of 2023.
The Complex will feature three levels of entertainment with TopTracer Range technology in 60+ climate-controlled outdoor hitting bays. The experience will include a chef-driven menu, top-shelf drinks, music, and year-round entertainment for all ages. Several high-definition TVs will be installed throughout the facility, with a massive 4K LED in the main bar area – estimated to be the largest indoor TV in the State of Iowa. The Complex will be able to host events for kids and families, social leagues, golf tournaments, corporate and charity events, and personal celebrations. The venue will also feature a state-of-the-art video gaming space with an immersive virtual reality platform, escape rooms, games, and sport simulators.
Along with a large event space, the Complex will be planned for a future rooftop patio, and a common plaza area outside the venue. Bettendorf’s Complex is primed to become a hub of activity that will stimulate further growth in the development and boost the City’s economic health.
