JLG Architects, one of MSN Money’s 50 Most Admired U.S. Firms and Building Design+Construction magazine’s U.S. Architecture Giants, has announced the opening of an office in St. Cloud, Minnesota. This is JLG’s 13th office nationwide and the fourth in Minnesota, including Minneapolis, Rochester, and Alexandria.
“JLG was founded almost thirty years ago on the belief that architecture can solve problems in a way that improves the day-to-day life not just for the building users, but for the entire community,” said Michelle Mongeon Allen, JLG CEO. “This is why we continue to grow to cities like St. Cloud; while we are a national design leader, it is our connection to the local community that makes us who we are. After 10 years of working in St. Cloud, JLG is thrilled to be able to locally serve the entire area.”
JLG Architects has been a part of several St. Cloud landmarks, including the recent expansion of St. Cloud State University’s Herb Brooks National Hockey Center, the River’s Edge Civic Center, and the restoration of First National Bank of St. Cloud, which received a 2017 Minnesota Preservation Impact Award.
JLG is currently negotiating office space in Downtown St. Cloud with the expectation to move in by May 2019. The office will be staffed with current employees and external hires. Open positions are listed on the firm’s website at www.jlgarchitects.com/careers.
