The University of North Dakota’s new John D. Odegard School of Aerospace Sciences Flight Operations Center has reached a major project milestone with the final steel beam now set in place, signaling that construction has moved beyond the halfway point. JLG designed the 28,000‑square‑foot facility to consolidate instructional areas, event space, a modern dispatch center, specialized briefing rooms, and flight‑instructor offices to support the university’s expanding aviation program. University leaders expect the building to serve as an active hub for students, faculty, and staff within the John D. Odegard School of Aerospace Sciences, enhancing the flow of daily flight operations.
