John D. Odegard School of Aerospace Sciences Flight Operations Center

The University of North Dakota Aviation Program, part of the John D. Odegard School of Aerospace Sciences, is the top collegiate aviation program in the United States. In partnership with Mead & Hunt as JLG’s Aviation Design Partner, UND is planning a new landmark facility and multi‑purpose hangar that will celebrate its aviation legacy, support future growth, and strengthen key industry relationships. The three‑story building will include dedicated spaces for Dispatch, Records, Instructor Work Areas, and a Grand Lounge overlooking the Bravo Apron, along with Briefing and Debriefing Huddle Rooms and an executive Board Room. Site improvements will update parking and introduce new drainage infrastructure near the retention pond.
