Rogers to Celebrate Grand Opening of HealthPartners Fieldhouse at the TruStone Center

JLG Architects designed the 85,538-square-foot HealthPartners Fieldhouse as a permanent, pre-engineered stretched-fabric structure, eliminating the high maintenance costs of inflatable domes and the added expense of traditional long-span metal buildings.

ROGERS, M.N. – November 13, 2025 – Designed by JLG Architects, the new HealthPartners Fieldhouse, is preparing to celebrate its grand opening and dedication on Monday, November 17, 2025, at 14160 James Road, Rogers, MN. This event is open to the public and will take place from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with activities for all ages. As part of the festivities, a formal ribbon cutting will be conducted by the Mayor at 5:10 PM, followed by an open house, with self-guided tours for residents and visitors.

JLG Architects designed the 85,538-square-foot HealthPartners Fieldhouse as a permanent, pre-engineered stretched-fabric structure, eliminating the high maintenance costs of inflatable domes and the added expense of traditional long-span metal buildings.

The state-of-the-art facility is multipurpose, anchored by a National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) soccer field. Beyond soccer, JLG integrated flexible floor space for year-round play of lacrosse, football, softball, and baseball. Additionally, the facility offers an indoor playground, batting cages, and a walking track.

“We are incredibly excited to announce the grand opening of HealthPartners Fieldhouse at TruStone Center,” said Shannon Klick, City of Rogers Mayor. “As a City of Rogers-owned and operated facility, it provides a unique level of year-round indoor sports and recreation opportunities not found elsewhere in our region. This turf fieldhouse has been a vision of Rogers residents, the Rogers Park and Recreation Advisory Commission, and the Rogers City Council for many years. We are beyond thankful to our residents, our sponsor partners, HealthPartners and TruStone Financial, and to JLG Architects and Terra Construction, who helped make the project a reality.”

HealthPartners Fieldhouse is the first in Minnesota to integrate Pivot®, a premium turf—without performance infill—combining natural, grass-like grip with high system stability and lower environmental and operational impact.

The Fieldhouse is considered an extension of the TruStone Center, formerly Rogers Activity Center. Prior to the new fieldhouse, JLG’s Tom Betti—formerly 292 Design Group—led the 2007 design of the original Rogers Activity Center. This 48,250-square-foot project provided an NHL-sized ice sheet, fan and player amenities, and multi-use community rooms. Over a decade later, recognizing the increasing demand for indoor and year-round athletic space, Rogers collaborated with JLG to design the community and region’s first indoor turf facility.

“HealthPartners Fieldhouse prioritizes play above all else,” said JLG Architects’ Ryan Rademacher, AIA, Principal Architect. “With a flexible, multi-sport field layout and premium fill-less turf, athletes get a better, cleaner playing experience—something parents and operations staff will appreciate just as much as the players.”

The project’s primary design team included collaboration between the City of Rogers, JLG Architects, Design Tree Engineering, HealthPartners, Terra Construction, and TruStone.
