ROGERS, M.N. – July 29, 2026 – Finance & Commerce has honored HealthPartners Fieldhouse at the TruStone Center as one of its Top Projects in 2025. Designed by JLG Architects, the 85,538-square-foot multi-sport Fieldhouse celebrated its grand opening on November 17, 2025, in Rogers, MN.
HealthPartners Fieldhouse, the region’s first indoor turf facility, helps the City of Rogers meet the increasing demand for indoor and year-round athletic space. The Fieldhouse is a permanent, pre-engineered stretched-fabric structure, which was designed to avoid the high maintenance costs of inflatable domes and added expense of traditional long-span metal buildings.
This state-of-the-art facility is anchored by a National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) soccer field, with flexible floor space for year-round play of lacrosse, football, softball, and baseball. JLG worked closely with the City to understand what features would be most important to the community, ultimately incorporating a playground and batting cages on the mezzanine level, which provides visibility throughout the Fieldhouse. The facility’s walking track, which was designed for community use, has been one of its most popular features.

The Pivot® turf provides a more natural, grass-like grip with high system stability and lower environmental and operational impact.”
“As a City of Rogers-owned and operated facility, it (HealthPartners Fieldhouse) provides a unique level of year-round indoor sports and recreation opportunities not found elsewhere in our region,” said Shannon Klick, City of Rogers Mayor, at the time of the grand opening. “This turf fieldhouse has been a vision of Rogers residents, the Rogers Park and Recreation Advisory Commission, and the Rogers City Council for many years. We are beyond thankful to our residents, our sponsor partners, HealthPartners and TruStone Financial, and to JLG Architects and Terra Construction, who helped make the project a reality.”
The primary design team for HealthPartners Fieldhouse included a collaboration between the City of Rogers, JLG Architects, Design Tree Engineering, HealthPartners, Terra Construction, and TruStone. The HealthPartners Fieldhouse is an extension of the TruStone Center, formerly Rogers Activity Center. Prior to the new Fieldhouse, JLG’s Tom Betti—formerly 292 Design Group—led the 2007 design of the original Center. This 48,250-square-foot project provided an NHL-sized ice sheet, fan and player amenities, and multi-use community rooms.
Finance & Commerce Top Projects Awards
HealthPartners Fieldhouse at the TruStone Center was honored at a July 23rd event at Quincy Hall in Minneapolis, MN, alongside a second JLG-designed project, the Eagan Art House, in Eagan, MN. When selecting the Finance & Commerce Top Projects, an independent panel of judges examined the degree of difficulty, creativity in design, innovative construction techniques, cooperation among contractors and management, and sustainability efforts. In addition to award recognition, HealthPartners Fieldhouse and Eagan Art House will be featured in a special edition magazine, a series of stories and photos in the Finance & Commerce daily newspaper, and on the website.
