Dr. Brad Hunt Joins JLG Architects as K12 Advisor

Dr. Brad Hunt has joined JLG Architects as K12 Advisorin the K12 Practice Studio.

DALLAS, TX – Dr. Brad Hunt has joined JLG Architects as K12 Advisor within the firm’s award-winning K12 Practice Studio. In 2024, JLG was nationally ranked #87 in the Top K12 Building Design+Construction Giants. The firm was additionally honored as the 2024 ENR Mountain States Design Firm of the Year.

Dr. Hunt contributes 35 years of experience as a teacher, assistant principal, principal, director of human resources, assistant superintendent for administrative services, and superintendent of schools. With vast experience in short- and long-range planning, bond packaging, and school finances, he joins an accomplished team of educational architects, including two A4LE-Accredited Learning Environment Planners.

Dr. Hunt earned his Master of Education from the University of Texas Tyler and is certified in All-Level Special Education, Educational Diagnostician, Elementary Comprehensive, Social Studies Composite, Texas Teacher Evaluation and Support System, Texas Principal Evaluation and Support System, and Thinking Maps and Crucial Conversations Trainer. He has a Bachelor of Science in Education and Doctorate in Educational Administration from the University of North Texas, where he additionally completed Superintendent and Mid-Management Certification.

Dr. Hunt is active in several Texas organizations, as an advisory committee member for Region 10 Retirement Asset Management Investment, an Executive Committee Chair and Secretary for the UIL Music Region 31, Advisory Council for the North Texas Commission Superintendents, and former Commissioner’s Cabinet representative for Region 10. He has been a contributing member of the North Central Texas Regional Consortium since 2012 and the Texas Association of School Administrators since 2010, holding past leadership positions with the Texas Middle School Association, North Central Texas Middle School League, Dallas County Administrators Association, and the Association of Supervision and Curriculum Development, among others.
