We’ve made it our job to Be Kind to Your Mind. JLG is dedicated to environments that support strong mental health, from healthcare and K12 schools to community centers and collegiate campuses. JLG drives a widespread commitment to mental health initiatives across all nine offices – including paid time off for community volunteerism, 12 free counseling sessions/year, mandatory vacation time, a stigma-free culture, and a sensory-sensitive workplace.
JLG’s Tracy Jordre, Principal Architect & Workplace Expert, is a proud team advocate for mental health awareness, determined to make an impact with neurodiverse-friendly workplaces that help employees thrive together. JLG’s Healthcare Studio Leader, Todd Medd, is an equally passionate advocate within healthcare systems and as the co-founder of the 4-6-3 Foundation, teaming with local organizations to Reduce Stigma, Build Hope, and End Suicide.
“As a society, we have been trained to ignore or minimize the effects of mental health disorders, and it’s devastating. We all have the ability to speak up and acknowledge the signs, solutions, and importance of mental health management at home, in schools, and in the workplace. Breaking the silence and finding new ways to show support for those around us is important because sometimes the warning signs are difficult to see.” -Todd Medd, 4-6-3 Foundation Co-Founder and JLG’s Healthcare Studio Leader
