NDSU’s renovation of Seim Hall transforms a 1972 residence hall into a vibrant, wellness-centered living community designed for today’s students. JLG’s predesign effort established a framework for a complete modernization, reimagining residential spaces, study areas, gathering places, and building systems while preserving the tower’s enduring structure. Focused on student well-being, connection, and academic success, Seim Hall will serve as the prototype for future residence hall renovations, helping shape the next generation of on-campus living at NDSU. The project is currently under construction and is scheduled to welcome students in Fall 2027.
