JLG Architects’ Josh Kehrwald Promoted to Director of Project Delivery

“With over 22 years of experience in architecture, and 16 years of actively contributing to the development and evolution of JLG, Josh understands our past, present, and future,” said Michelle Mongeon Allen.

JLG Architects’ Josh Kehrwald has been promoted from Senior Project Manager and Principal Architect to Director of Project Delivery. Kehrwald has been employed by JLG Architects for 16 years and was promoted to Principal Architect in 2021. He is originally from Wahpeton, ND, and graduated with a Master of Architecture from Montana State University-Bozeman in 2002.

As Director of Project Delivery, Kehrwald will provide expertise in project management, delivery, and technical execution to advise Project Managers and leaders across nine Midwest offices and more than 220 employee owners nationwide. Kehrwald will further develop and maintain standards and processes to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and client satisfaction.

“With over 22 years of experience in architecture, and 16 years of actively contributing to the development and evolution of JLG, Josh understands our past, present, and future,” said Michelle Mongeon Allen, FAIA, LEED AP, CEO of JLG Architects. “For the past decade, he has been at the helm of our largest, most complex projects – projects that have changed the trajectory of our organization and helped to shape ‘the JLG Way.’ The challenges and opportunities inherent in projects of that scale have guided Josh’s approach to leadership; a growth mindset that determines how to make things happen rather than why things can’t be done.”

“Throughout JLG’s history, we’ve seen every management position advance from a single individual to a sophisticated team. With Josh’s experience as a JLG Project Architect, Project Manager, and Principal, we are confident he is the right person to build a dynamic team and seamless client experience, catalyzing a new realm of opportunities for growth into the future,” said Jason Haagenson, JLG Architects COO & CFO.
