Nationally-recognized healthcare designer and client relationship manager joins JLG Architects

April 29, 2021 – JLG Architects, ENR Mountain States’ 2019 Design Firm of the Year and one of Building Design+Construction’s Healthcare Architecture Giants, is pleased to announce the addition of Kristine Sallee, CID, LEED AP ID+C, WELL AP, EDAC to the role of Healthcare Designer and Client Relationship Manager at JLG.

“Design is about people – engaging in communication and collaboration,” said Sallee.  “I’m always looking for ways to help my clients move beyond ‘something ordinary’ towards something bigger, better, joyful, and meaningful.”

With over 20 years of experience in the healthcare field in various roles, Sallee’s career as a collaborator and thought leader has developed a recognized expert focus designing efficient, comfortable, and uplifting healthcare environments.  A former Project Manager for a large Midwestern healthcare system, Sallee understands healthcare issues from the inside-out; in her previous role, led sustainability efforts and championed Wellbeing implementation.

Sallee also spent several years at the Minnesota offices of national architecture and interior design firms, working alongside providers such as Allina Health, Altru Health System, Essentia, M Health Fairview, and Hennepin Healthcare.

Sallee is a Certified Interior Designer (CID), a LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP ID+C), a WELL Accredited Professional (WELL AP), and holds her Evidence-Based Design Accreditation and Certification (EDAC).  She has a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from the University of Minnesota.
