UND Swanson Hall University of North Dakota
Swanson Hall, on the campus of the University of North Dakota, was designed to one day be converted into a hotel. Until that time, it has become the University’s most popular residence hall. The building features a five-story skylit atrium with lounges located on each floor. The 104 room, 202-bed facility includes six rooms for the physically disabled and is connected to the campus’s Memorial Union. The residence hall was designed to co-exist with nearby buildings, it’s plan allowing visual contact to the Union from a prominent campus street.
Swanson Hall incorporated energy-efficient systems and lighting for optimized energy performance.
