Grand Forks, North Dakota
Toasted Frog is located in the historic Grand Forks Mercantile Exchange building in the city’s old downtown. The restaurant seats 100 patrons in several dining areas, bars and meeting rooms. The remodeling carefully preserved the buildings interior face brick, wood floors and heavy timber framing to create an intimate character.
The restaurant features handpainted decorative walls and stencils on the floor, a copper plated wood fire burning oven and a bar custom designed and constructed by artisan David Badman.
This project recieved an AIA ND Award of Merit.
