Bottineau County Jail Expansion

The JLG team, along with BWBR as the Secure Environments Design Architect, completed a project in Bottineau County, North Dakota to expand their Jail and Law Enforcement facility. The jail adds 11 new cells configured around a central control room for direct visual control. The Law enforcement center includes new sheriff’s administration area with new secure public lobby reception area. Interview/interrogation rooms contain one-way glass with integrated audio/visual recording and communication technology. A new evidence storage and processing room containing secure evidence lockers helps to maintain a clear chain of custody. New secure vehicle sallyport is adjacent to a booking/processing area containing equipment for sobriety testing, fingerprinting, and mug-shot photography. A new secure armory space for deputy weapon storage and maintenance was also included.
