Student Academic Center Study

Dickinson State University

The DSU Academic Center is a proposed state-of-the-art facility which will be an educational hub for campus. With 3 levels covering 37,000 square feet it will house the Visual Arts Department, the Academic Success Center, Trio, Extended Learning, Innovative Learning Environments and a 60 seat tiered lecture bowl, as well as an open atrium space adjacent to an Art Gallery. This new facility will create a centralized location for the Visual Arts, moving them from their outdated current location into the heart of campus. This location provides close proximity to May Hall, Stoxen library and Murphy Hall creating a cohesive academic core for the campus.
