1st International Bank & Trust of Rugby
Rugby, North Dakota
The $6 million, 20,000-square-foot facility, which is expected to be completed in June 2017, was designed by JLG Architects.
The facility features a timber roofline, traditional materials such as natural stone in the interior and plenty of glass to “offer panoramic views of the prairie.” The building will also feature an indoor fireplace and outdoor patio. The bank’s site, which is at the intersection of Highway 2 and Highway 3, was the longtime home of The Hub restaurant, and the sign from that building will be featured in the bank’s gallery, which will be used to host events. The building also will have room for other tenants.
